Getting started
Team and roles
Create your team's accounts, pick their roles and give them access to your creators.
Each team member has their own Fansquare account and never knows the creators' MYM credentials. What they can do depends on two separate settings.
Their role sets their rights, meaning what they can do.
Their access sets the creators they work on.
Add an employee
- 1
Create their account
In Team › Employees, click Add an employee. Fill in their name, their role, their email address and a password of at least 8 characters, with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one digit. Tick Paid on commission if they earn a commission on their sales.
- 2
They verify their address
Fansquare sends them an invitation email. They click the link to verify their address, then sign in to the app with the email and password you gave them.
- 3
Give them access to creators
In the menu of their row, choose Manage access, then add creators under Which creators. A group of creators can be added in one go.
For several employees at once, tick their rows, then choose Grant access to creators or Change role. Before you confirm, the What it will do box counts the access rows created and removed.
Roles
Roles are set in Settings › Roles. Only the owner can edit them.
| Role | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Owner | Every right, including billing, referrals and roles. There is only one, and ownership is handed over with Transfer ownership. |
| Associé | Shipped locked. Every right except those reserved to the owner, on the whole agency, MYM connections included. Only the owner can assign it. |
| Administrateur | Default role, to run the agency day to day. |
| Chatteur | Default role, to talk with the fans of their creators, AI included, without recording voice messages or cancelling subscriptions. |
The three shipped roles keep their French names in the app: Associé (partner), Administrateur (administrator) and Chatteur (chatter).
For a different need, click New role and start from a template: Manager, VA, Tracking links, Chatter, or Start from scratch. Then tick rights one by one, or set a whole section with Preset. The Find a right field finds a box by name, and the Compare tab puts roles side by side.
Some rights carry a limit, such as Visible history for revenue, or Monthly token cap for AI. A write right automatically grants the view right of its block.
An employee's perimeter
An employee only works on the creators you opened to them. Their conversations, fans and sends are available to them, never those of other creators. The owner and associates work on the whole agency, with no access to grant.
Four rights also have a scope, which sets the creators they cover. Three are for viewing, the fourth for managing the commission pot.
| Right | Possible scopes |
|---|---|
| View revenue | None, My creators, Whole agency |
| View live activity | None, My creators, Whole agency |
| View employee performance | None, My perimeter, Whole agency |
| Manage the commission pot and payouts | None, My perimeter, Whole agency |
With Whole agency, a manager follows the numbers of the whole agency, but still only writes to the fans of their own creators. Without that scope, a creator outside their perimeter appears nowhere for them, neither her name nor her numbers.
What a chatter sees
With the Chatteur role, an employee sees:
in Messages, only the creators opened to them, their conversations and each fan's sheet;
in the sidebar, only the pages their role allows, including My performance for their own sales;
a read-only reply field if their role lets them view conversations without replying.
Only two screens name a missing right: the Employees page, which says the owner can add it to their role, and, on the Dashboard, the Sales by employee block. Elsewhere, a page their role does not allow simply does not appear in the menu.
Logging out a creator's MYM credentials removes every employee's access to that creator. After reconnecting, open her again in Manage access. See Connect a MYM account.
